Tests are effective ways to measure and understand your child's progress in learning.We work with our teachers, parents, students, and district staff to use this information to improve learning experiences and help your child succeed. 27J Schools use a variety of assessments at different grade levels to determine your child's progress.

CogAT all sixth grade students CogAT is a cognitive ability test that measures reasoning skills in order to identify students for qualification of Gifted and Talented Services and create a Talent Pool of students that could qualify for these services in the future.  09/01-09/30 TBD
LangLit & Math Common Assessments all students Content specific assessments of all core subjects that provide teachers an opportunity to track student progress towards proficiency of state standards and adjust instruction accordingly.  CAs also prepare students for the rigor of state assessments.
